The summer break has been underway for a few weeks now, and for many NAC supporters, things might feel a bit quiet on the transfer front. Who will be joining our Pearl of the South? Speculation and rumors are flying, and we can't wait to see which new faces we'll soon welcome in the yellow and black!
NAC on Holiday: Show Your Colors!
Summer is, of course, also the perfect time for holidays! Whether you're soaking up the sun on the Mediterranean, venturing into the mountains, or simply staying in your own country, it's essential to make sure you have plenty of NAC merchandise at home. Because even on holiday, you radiate who you are: a proud NAC supporter!

Preparing for the New Season: The Calendar Is Set!
Besides vacation plans, summer is also all about preparing for the new season. And that starts soon! NAC will kick off its first training session in Zundert on June 30th . A full schedule of friendlies is lined up to get Carl Hoefkens's team ready for the Eredivisie. These are the matches you can't miss:
- Tuesday, July 1: SV Terheijden – NAC (Ruitersvaartseweg, Terheijden)
- The official start of the preparation against this third division team.
- Thursday, July 3: VV Baronie – NAC (Sports Park De Blauwe Kei, Breda)
- A Breda-based clash against the fourth division club.
- Saturday, July 5: NAC – TOP Oss (Velden VV Zundert)
- The first match against a professional club from the Kitchen Champion Division.
- Thursday, July 10: NAC – KSC Lokeren-Temse (Sportpark De Gagelrijzen, Sint Willebrord)
- A reunion with former NAC coach Stijn Vreven.
- Saturday, July 12: NAC – Excelsior Rotterdam (Main field Rijsbergen Football Club)
- A meeting with the PhD candidate.
Training camp in Zeeland & International Duels!
From July 14th to 19th, NAC will be in the province of Zeeland for its summer training camp in Goes. Training will take place daily on the VV GOES pitches, with a friendly game interspersed between them:
- Tuesday, July 15: Zeeland Selection – NAC (Velden VV GOES)
- A practice match against a selection of amateur footballers from Zeeland.
- Saturday, July 19:
- A practice match will also be held on this day; the opponent will be announced later. We'll share it on our social media channels as soon as it's known.
There are still some interesting duels on the programme:
- Wednesday, July 23: NAC – NK Lokomotiva Zagreb (Red-White Fields, Sint Willebrord)
- An interesting clash against a Croatian top division club.
- Saturday, July 26: NAC – FC Volendam (Sportpark De Schietberg, Made)
- A meeting with newly promoted FC Volendam.
- Wednesday, July 30: Club Brugge – NAC (Closed)
- A closed practice match against the former team of coach Hoefkens.
Grand Finale: International Awayday to Norwich City!
The absolute icing on the cake of your pre-season, and perhaps the highlight of your summer, is the trip to Great Britain! On Saturday, August 2nd, the Pearl of the South will conclude pre-season with a fantastic international away day against Championship club Norwich City.
Imagine this: with perhaps 2,500 NAC supporters, we'll transform the iconic Carrow Road stadium into a yellow-and-black fortress. And the madness won't be limited to the stadium! This promises to be a weekend full of highlights. The city of Norwich will be transformed into a friendly enclave of Breda —a fantastic party you simply can't miss!
A European away match against NAC is a unique experience. You never know how long it will be before we get to experience something like that again. This promises to be an unforgettable weekend , full of camaraderie, atmosphere, and pure NAC passion. Make sure you're there and finish your pre-season in style before the Eredivisie season really kicks off! You don't want to miss this!
The new Eredivisie season kicks off on the weekend of August 8, 9, and 10 with an away match for NAC. So, this summer promises plenty of NAC action!
